Renascent Hospitality Acquires Two New Hotels

Renascent Hospitality, a Central-Ohio based hotel management and development company, is proud to welcome the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas North/Denison, and the Hampton Inn Sweetwater, both in Texas, to its portfolio. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have these two new, beautiful properties in our company portfolio,” commented Scott Somerville, President of Renascent.

 

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas North/Denison, Texas is a 79-room hotel that opened in mid-2008. Located just a few miles from Lake Texoma, the hotel is in a rapidly expanding area of Northern Texas, just north of the Dallas Metroplex.

 

The brand new 72-room Hampton Inn Sweetwater just wrapped up construction and opened to the public in December 2009. It was build with the most recent Hampton brand initiatives to enhance the guest experience. The City of Sweetwater, located in West Central Texas, is home to the largest wind farm in the nation, and is a leader in the renewable energy industry.

The 2006-developed hotel has been acquired by NexGen Properties, LLC, based in Greenwood Village. The Hampton Inn & Suites was bought for $7.95 million from seller Spirit Hospitality, based in Fort Collins. With 48,980 square feet, the hotel boasts 74 rooms to check out.
